Other CPACS Programs and Classes

On the Lincoln campus, CPACS offers a major and minors in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice and a minor and certificate in the Department of Gerontology

Social Work

We also regularly offer introductory courses in Social Work. These courses allow students to learn a bit more about the work of social workers. Even if you do not plan to pursue social work as a career, learning about what social workers do and about social welfare and social services more generally can be helpful. Social workers regularly interact with various other occupations and institutions — law enforcement, schools, and hospitals, just to name a few! Introductory classes can also be useful for students that may later decide they want to pursue graduate work.

Public Administration

CPACS is hoping to start offering courses in Public Administration on the Lincoln campus soon. Check back for updates. In the meantime, you can learn more about Public Administration by visiting the School of Public Administration website for the Omaha campus.
